Cranberry Spice Tea

Grandmother’s Cranberry Spice Tea (aka Heritage Tea)

48 oz Cranberry Cocktail
46 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1 C boiling water
3/4 C brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice

Combine water, sugar and spices and bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Add juices, add 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks. Simmer about 10 minutes. May be refrigerated and reheated to serve.
