Still playing make believe.

What IS It?

Okay, off the subject, but that questioin “What IS it?” always reminds me of Barbra Streisand dressed like a very pregnant bride and singing, “His Love Makes Me Beautiful” in Funny Girl . (Love that movie!)

IF you remember (and who could forget?) hum that song to yourself today, just for fun.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program . . .

Anybody know what this is? I’m saying it’s a wildflower, but it might just be a weed.

This is a picture of the same wild flower (or weed) different view–

I’d probably call it Feather Neck if I were naming it, but I have no idea what it really is. Do you?

Next question–

What’s this? No, I’m not talking about the grasshopper. I’m talking about the plant.

The pods are gorgeous, aren’t they?

Know what that plants called? And do you know if it’s poison? It looks pretty enough to eat, doesn’t it?

If I were naming it, I think I’d call it a Magic Lantern. But what’s it really called? Do y’all know?

And don’t tell me it’s a Green Lantern. 🙂

And finally . . .  do you know what this plant is?

 Hint: It’s a vine.

And at first glance I thought, “A clematis.” But it’s wild. Do clematis grow wild in Okie-Land?

Wild, hairy and little horns for stamen???

It could be that it glows in the dark.

Or it might need blood to live. And Steve Martin might look like lunch.

It might even make babies and grow and grow and grow until it takes over earth as we know it.

And it’s name is Audrey II.

No, wait. That’s another movie. Never mind.

Anybody know what it is?
