Still playing make believe.

The Graduate(s)

A few days ago, I mentioned some of our family’s celebrations. What I didn’t mention is that we also celebrate high shool graduations. And this year, we had two graduate. (With all the kids in this family, that happens a lot.)

These two guys are this year’s crop. I think they’re wearing their game faces, since they’ll both be going to Oklahoma Baptist University to play football on scholarship!!! (Woohoo, Bisons!)

We had another celeb at the party. In the very near future, this partier will be a bride! (I can hardly wait!!!)

(Wait. I MIGHT need to go shopping.)

At our celebrations we always have plenty of food,

and smiles,

and more smiles.

 And entertainment.

Boy! Do we have entertainment. Adorable entertainment! This guy keeps us laughing non-stop. 🙂 (He and my new hip are the exact same age.)

Of course, some of our partiers don’t like the camera,

some ignore the camera

and some fight it, but finally relent. (Thank you, guys!)

It couldn’t be a party with our little office boss.

He wasn’t feeling very good that day. I think it’s because his mama cut his hair so short, his head’s cold. Poor baby.

Nice pocket filler, huh? 🙂

The party was at Brother Jeffrey’s house. Sadly, I didn’t get his picture or SIL Julie. And I missed the Kentucky Woman, too. Fingers crossed Sister Cindy got a few and will share.

One thing I’ll say about our celebrations–there’s love in abundance going around. With Father’s Day coming up, I’m wondering if Brother Jeffrey is going to volunteer for a rerun?

For as long as I can remember, I've loved two things--reading and people--and that led me to become a writer. Many of my stories are set in Small Town Worlds. I'm a wife, mother, sibling and an aunt. I have a deep faith in God, and an exciting life in Christ. Maybe I shouldn't be (after all, he's God!) but I'm constantly amazed at the things He's up to. :)
