Pray for a Cure

Sister Debbie is going to try to get me over my wedding dress blues today. Pray for success!

I might just have to go on a starvation diet (ie-only water and cold green beans.)

Oy! I’ll let you know.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved two things--reading and people--and that led me to become a writer. Many of my stories are set in Small Town Worlds. I'm a wife, mother, sibling and an aunt. I have a deep faith in God, and an exciting life in Christ. Maybe I shouldn't be (after all, he's God!) but I'm constantly amazed at the things He's up to. :)

  1. The MOB wedding dress that I found were separates. The top was what I really liked with a fitted waist and a little belt that actually made me look like I have a waist. The sad part was it was a discontinued model and I had to take the one I tried on which was my size but a little snug. So they couldn’t order me a size up and alter it. Now I am going to be forced to lose a little weight so I can comfortably wear this top. They ordered the skirt and I will have to try it on when it comes in and hopefully it will fit without altering. I have 9 months to do it. I think I can. I think I can…

    • You LOSE weight? You’re tiny already. I’ll disappear if you lose much. How about a Spanx or one of those other torture devices that always remind me of the Inquisition? Or a good alterations lady?
Nine months will be here before we know it.
I have another son getting married next March. Wait. That’s only eight months. Yiiiiiikes!

  2. Susan, So good to hear from you. With treatment I’m making progress. Added you to my blogroll today. All the best, Dr. B

    • Hey Doc!
I’m so glad to hear you’re doing well.
Thanks for the add. I so enjoy it when you make your song of the day one from back when, like The Church in the Wildwood.
      I hummed it all day.
O-oh, come, come, come, come. 🙂

I'm so glad you dropped by my Small Town World! Hope you'll leave a comment. I really enjoy hearing from you!
