Still playing make believe.

Wedding Wednesday

We have a wedding coming up in just about 30 days. (I. Can’t. Breathe.)

I don’t have a dress to wear.

I don’t have the rehearsal dinner planned.

I don’t know what I need to do or when I need to do it

I WANT MY MAMA!!!

Maybe there’s a place I can look it up online. Gulp. I hope. I always makes me wonder how Mom knew just what to do on any given occasion.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved two things--reading and people--and that led me to become a writer. Many of my stories are set in Small Town Worlds. I'm a wife, mother, sibling and an aunt. I have a deep faith in God, and an exciting life in Christ. Maybe I shouldn't be (after all, he's God!) but I'm constantly amazed at the things He's up to. :)

  1. Oh, I love your photos of the honeymoon trip. You look so cute on the mountaintop dressed in slacks. I bet you were cold. May is usually cold on Colorado mountains. 🙂 We usually visit there in July. In 2007 we went in early May and it was cold at night on the mountain tops. It also snowed a little each day. We were at Tin Cup and Pitkin last year in July with our four-wheelers. We’re going to Lake City, CO this year and will be around Silverton and Ouray.
I bought a mother of the bride dress two weeks ago from Alfred Angelo Bridal Company Store in Tulsa. It’s address is 8802-C East 71st Street. It’s in the shopping center near Old Navy. 918-307-0355.
You might get Rib Crib in Sand Springs to cater your rehearsal dinner. They will deliver. We have used them at the church.

  2. Terri,
That’s where Nikki bought her wedding dress. I’ll try it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Can’t use ribcrib for the rehersal dinner because it’s the reception! LOL.
Sister Deb has offered to help me figure it out. She’s much better at that than I am.
Thanks for the help! I appreciate it more than you know.

I'm so glad you dropped by my Small Town World! Hope you'll leave a comment. I really enjoy hearing from you!
